Fly to India Business Class for $5.60

Yup you heard that right. Virgin Atlantic being a partner with Delta Airlines, it enables us to use miles to redeem rewards tickets. This one being a killer deal because you get a $8300 business class seat for a paltry $5.60 in taxes.

So whats the deal?

You will need 60,000 miles with Virgin collected either by flying with them often or transferring them from American Express where the Virgin Atlantic Club is a transfer partner.

The good news for AMEX Membership Reward points holders is that there is a running OFFER:

1000 Membership Rewards points = 1300 Flying Club miles (30% bonus miles)

This effectively means you don’t really need to transfer 60,000 MR points. Instead you send 47,000 MR points which can easily be accumulated by collecting the sign-up bonus from the AMEX Gold or Platinum cards.

Ironically enough, if you were to redeem the same ticket from Delta, it will set you back 135,000 miles+ $5.60 in taxes. Hence transferring to Virgin Atlantic is the best way to go.

And it’s a BUSINESS CLASS SEAT with premium service such as your own bed in the sky, classy drinks, signature dishes and lounge access. Not to mention the small wait times at immigration thanks to your seat class.
