How to save $30 off an Amazon Purchase?

Today, a lot of us buy things off the internet and what better place that comes into mind when you think online shopping than Amazon. Well if you shop on Amazon often or have been on the fence to buy something this is your chance.

Eligibility

To apply this offer you need to have an American Express Membership Reward points earning account from cards such as the AmEx Everyday, Gold and Platinum amongst others. Business cards earning the points will work too.

(You may use this link and go to “View all Cards with a Referral Offer” selecting Rewards Points to find these cards).

Next, you need to have an Amazon account for at-least 30 days as well. Go to this page to check if you are eligible and link a card account with your Amazon account to enable the offer.

Update: 15 July 2020, Click here to get $20 off $50 by using 1MR point.

Making the Purchase

The best part is that you can buy a 3rd Party gift card and the offer will still be applied. So even if you don’t wish to buy anything on Amazon, you might still be able to get a gift-card to be used elsewhere. Do keep in mind that the minimum purchase has to be of $60.

To apply the $30 off, you enter $0.01 to use only ONE Membership Reward Point. A pretty slick deal from that one MR point if you ask me.

Use only 1 MR point

I made a dummy order for an item that costed $64.99 and the $30 AmEx Promotion automatically applied in check-out.

Dummy order

This order is limited to one card but if you have multiple MR earning cards, you can make use of the offer just as many times. You would have to Activate the offer each time for each card.
